I’ve never baked bread before. I heard it takes hours and hours and all the kneeding and the yeast!
But today, I decided to try baking bread BECAUSE…
i wanted to,
AND…
i found a recipe which is…
FAST
NO kneeding (not much anyway!)
NO yeast
Very LITTLE ingredient
NO oil/butter
It’s called the Traditional Irish Soda Bread.
The only variation I made to the recipe was to add wholemeal flour, and I used milk+vineger for the buttermilk.
Ta da!
Each “bun” measures about 5 inch in diameter.

Crispy on the outside…
Soft & spongy on the inside.
